sudo downgrade linux, then select witch kernel you wont install )PS. For users of these devices who have problems when WiFi and Bluetooth are running concurrently, suggest to disable BT Coex by loading iwlwifi with bt_coex_active=0 as a module parameter.

Try this - echo “options iwlwifi 11n_disable=8” | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf
and reboot and see if the speed&connect is better ? -

Check Legacy Mode in BIOS…disable if it enable. Extremely slow transfer speeds are sometimes caused by a BIOS feature called USB Legacy Mode. This feature is meant to provide compatibility with old USB devices that otherwise might not work, but it can restrict transfer speeds. What FS in drive that conect ?
Try sudo lsusb -v and replay.
