I tried using the wiki yesterday, went to https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/b43#list_of_hardware (as the wiki recommends), found my PCI-ID (14e4:432b) and installed broadcom-wl. To my surprise, it wasr already installed.
Can’t use anything like wifi-menu because it gives me the error “Invalid interface specification” nor can i use nmtui because i need my wifi interface device’s name!
For now I’m on a wired connection but i really need WiFi since 1) I’ve been in the most uncomfortable position ever since last night to be able to use the wired connection, and 2) There’s no way i’ll be able to use a wired connection in my other house :/
I’d just like to start this off by saying, I’ve been taking a look at the forum for about a hour or so, and y’all seem so damn nice! Really glad I’m starting to be apart of this community :)
So i just installed Antergos (XFCE), and I can’t connect to the internet. While i was booting from my usb, I got the message “No Wi-Fi adapter found”.
I figured i’d just use ethernet and the issue could get resolved after the installation.
Here is some information:
Result of lspci -k
03.00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Limited BCM4322 802.11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01) Subsystem: Apple Inc. Airport Extreme Kernel modules: ssb
Ip link doesn’t show anything related to wifi, only a 1: lo and a 2: enp0s10
I’m right next to my computer so if you ever need to see something, let me know and I’ll start writing everything as soon as I see!
Thanks in advance!
