Okay so im on a Dell Inspirion 14-3000 : 8GB Ram and a 32GB SSD. I have been trying to get Antergos installed for like a solid weeer install. But everytime id reboot after install id have issues. Issues such as No clock showing on LOGIN SCREEN or no USER ACCOUNT would display . so after various attempts i did some research and tried updating my lightdm. Dunno why thats just something i read that sounded similar to my issue… Or; I would CTRL+ALT+F2 and try to manually add an account. NOW mind you when starting terminal i have to log into the account i created during setup… so it exist but dosnt display??? Once im in i was able to add an account with
sudo useradd -M "name"
sudo passwd "name"
So I was able to get somthing to work enough to use the compy but its not my Root account so i guess less privlages ?? sure i can change that right ?? But bsicly i just wanted to know if this is a common issue or if anyone has had this issue??? Before i upgraded to the small SSD i had a 500GB HDD in her and Anterg would install fine ??? so please share your thoughts and opinions.
Sorry for the bad grammar & TL;DR story LOL

ima newb so…
Okay so , I just got done setting up Antergos up on a Dell Inspiron 14 3000 Series. It runs okay for a good bit, or even safe to say 90% of the time. I ran into a few problems though and was wondering if anyone has experience with them?
So the machine will start to stutter & CPU02 will fly to 100% and just sit maxed out like that ? Is this heard of ? I will add that there is good probability that machine has hardware issues.
I was in chromium and all the sudden she locks up and capslock button starts flashing ??? I did some research and was reading that it can indicate a Kernel Panic ? Now i see where this could be related to the first issue as well.
Just kinda wanted to see what some other people thought.
@Lizzi Ty so much i was able to get most the way through this , and i saw where it enabled silverlight as it installed but not flash ? Am i understanding right , that , i would need to enable ? i tried the suggested command ; resulting in below result.
sudo pipeline-plugin --enable adobeflash
sudo: pipeline-plugin: command not found
Sorry no idea how to black box that tried reading the compose help and putting some thingsdown to no avail .
So i have been browsing around the forum here , as well as digging around the net (Wiki mostly) . Ive come across a few solutions . [ Im currently using Firefox/Chromium on a 32-bit system ]
- Reverting Packages to older versions
- Different web browsers (Opera?)
So my question is .
How do i revert Packages in general ? More specifically Flash-pepper/ HAL and where is HAL located ?
And to the people who may have had this issue and solved it ; could you please share the steps you took ? I’m sorta kinda new to Linux based OS , but not computers , and I feel like i was missing stuff as i was reading solutions .
Sorry if this is a best to death issue and i just missed something.
