Update: I have had some success with intalling >> https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/826/suspend-button/ but really I consider this to be a workaround. I found this information by visiting https://forum.antergos.com/topic/2860/buttons-disappearing-from-gnome-drop-down-menu-thingy and it seems as though the extension that comes with Antergos is having an issue.
Silly GNOME! If I lock the screen or send the system to sleep, upon returning I loose all icons bar the settings one like so …
I am struggling even to recognise anything in the logs. So far, this has my spider sense tingling.
(gnome-shell:3940): St-CRITICAL **: st_widget_get_theme_node called on the widget [0x2867850 ShellGenericContainer "dash"] which is not in the stage.
Can’t seem to find the same issue on the internet but it’s a bit of a tricky thing to search for; I don’t know what that drop-down thingy is called.
Love and kisses,
