Well, just wanted to say I am really grateful for you for doing this. I just had this thought in my mind and you made it real.
Now, there are many things to improve in this desktop implementation. For examle, the problem of this thread, some applications are not visible in the Launcher. This are the things that I encountered but they were enough for me to use Linux Deepin instead of Antergos at this moment. But I will try it out from time to time and as soon as these problenms are gone and there are no new ones, I am fully in.
Big thanks once again!
By the way, is there any help you might need with maintaining the distro? I am not a very experienced user but if there’s something I could do I will gladly help.
Thank you for replying.
I use integrated Intel graphics. The whole thing is very strange and unexplained to me.
One more thing - when the system was launching for the first time after the installation display manager showed an error. There was a problem with the theme and the options were: ‘Load default theme’, ‘Load Fallback theme’, ‘Cancel’.
I think I chose cancel.
PS. By the way, are you the guy who brought Deepin to Antergos?
I have ASUS x540 laptop. Installed fresh Antergos Deepin. But suddenly, my touchpad doesn’t work. I’ve never had this problem with this touchpad and any Linux distro.
Please, help me fix this problem!
Edit: gestures(pinch and drag) work perfectly; I can switch between workspaces and such using the touchpad. It is only the cursor that doesn’t move(actually it moves slightly if you start moving your finger a lot).
Also tried using a mouse and it works perfectly.
