I hadn’t used my Thinkpad w530 in like a month and recenlty when I tried to start it, it couldn’t boot properly with intel grpahics - it has both Nvidia quadro k1000m and Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Normally I have problems running the discrete GPU but this time it was the other way around. The Xserver starts normally with the Nvidia and cannot load with the intel graphics. I have installed:
I have 20-intel.conf files in both /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d and /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d:
I have tried pretty much everything described in the Intel arch wiki page. I fear it could be because of a kernel update.
Have you experienced something similar? Thank you in advance
recently I decided to download UE4, but the compiling fails. My problem is the same like the one on this post:
https://forum.antergos.com/topic/7183/unreal-engine-aur-installation-and-manual-build which is marked as solved, but the guy doesn’t explain how did he fix it. As you may see, I did comment on that post and I didn’t get an answer, so that’s why I am starting a new topic. More info:
I am using gnome, I’m downloading the package with pacaur. The guy on the other post that I linked said that the compilation shouldn’t happen in a hidden folder, so I did export BUILDDIR = (some not hidden folder in home) but that didn’t fix it.
P.S. The installation steps in Unreal’s github also fail.
Thank you in advance!
