Thank you, for your information, Keegan. I greatly appreciate it!!
Here we will be waiting for your great work.
I am European, but as far as I know, and i hope i am not mistaken, in the United States, Thanksgiving Day is usually a day when people use your free time to be with family, making large meetings and family dinners and the main dish is usually the Turkey. It is also celebrated with great parades and with the realisation of the football games.
Having said this, I wish you with all sincerity, that you spend a very happy day with your family.
@Keegan Thank you once again for your response.
Well, since my English is poor and weak, we do not seem to understand each other. My apologies.
Once again I affirm that with your previous release (Antergos-deepin-17.7-x86_64), I did not have this issue.
With the official version of Antergos (antergos 17.8 and previous), neither, and with other distros that I have already tested, neither.
I admit the fault is mine, but I’m intrigued by the reason for this issue.
Please, excuse the inconvenience and I’m waiting for someone else to test this ISO, to see if the same issue happens.
Please can someone test it???
Tank you very much and congratulations for the excellent work.
@Keegan Thanks for the answer.
first of all, I’m newbie to linux…
I know what you mean, but I can’t connect to internet because the problem is that I go to the control panel and click on the network, only is avaliable DSL, VPN, PROXY, no wireless network, network details is empty. In my network connections is empty, if I want to create a new one, do not let anything be put, that is, it is deactivated …
Also in the dock system tray icon said: networkmanager is not running
At the terminal: systemctl status networkmanager
Unit networkmanager.service could not found
At the terminal: systemctl enable networkmanager
Failed to enable unit: unit file networkmanager.service does not exist
At the terminal: systemctl start networkmanager
Failed to start networkmanager.service: unit networkmanager.service not found
Neither connecting a network cable directly to the laptop I have internet …
I apologize for this confusion, but as I said earlier in Antergos-deepin-17.7-x86_64, did not have this issue.
Maybe ISO that I downloaded is corrupted … I do not know. I’ll try to download again.
My humble apologies and thanks
Sorry, for my English…
Many thanks for the great work.
After several attempts I finally got to download antergos-deepin-17.8-x86_64. The liveusb starts successfully, but I am not able to install antergos, because I can’t connect to the internet, that is, and forgive me if I am wrong, there is no networkmanager present in this ISO??..
Someone has tried to install and has the same problem???
Antergos-deepin-17.7-x86_64, did not have this issue.
Many thanks and forgive me.
Hi, sorry for my english…It is not my native language.
You don´t need redownload new ISO. I assume you have the latest ISO(2016.07.19).
Usually I do the following:
-Boot into LiveCD/LiveUSB(I use LiveUSB)
-Connect to network
-Wait(it takes some time)cnchi update (0.14.140-1, in this case) on network connect
-Start and finish the install.(obviously after choose my preferred DE and all necessary steps)
