With updates from 12th September, 2016 after two week holiday my Active Directory integration is broken.
I could not login via graphical login any more and when logging in via the terminal, the prompt showed
[I have no [email protected]]
id $usernamedid show all groups and correct ids but couldn’t map ids to user and group names.
ls -alin my home dir only showed ids instead of user and group names as owner information.
As far as I can tell, the config files (krb5.conf, smb.conf, etc.) haven’t changed and neither have the Active Directory settings.
/var/log/samba/log.winbindd-idmapI see messages like this:
[2016/09/15 16:07:24.411226, 3] ../source3/winbindd/idmap_rid.c:146(idmap_rid_unixids_to_sids) Unexpected error resolving an ID (16208)
wbinfo -uworks as expected and shows all the correct group and user names.

I have an external monitor connected to my laptop running Antergos. The external monitor is set up as primary display. Most applications, when started, appear on the primary, i.e. external, screen.
But Nautilus and some others (e.g. remmina remote desktop connections) insist on opening on the laptop screen instead, forcing me to drag the window over to my primary display.
Is there a way to change this behavior? If so, how do I do it?
Thanks in advance for any help.
I am having trouble configuring lightdm and lightdm-webkit2-greeter to hide the list of users and allow me to manually login.
/etc/lightdm/lightdm.confI have the following settings:
[Seat:*] ... greeter-hide-users=true greeter-show-manual-login=true ...
However, I still only see the list of users and no possibility to manually login.
Is this not possible with webkit2-greeter or do I need any additional setting, for example in
I could not find any documentation about the settings available for
BTW, with the same settings and choosing
greeter-session=lightdm-gtk-greeterI get a manual login. But the gtk-greeter is not as pretty as the webkit2-greeter. Maybe there is an alternative theme for gtk-greeter that fits with the overall antergos style?
Thanks in advance for any hints.
