So it would be better to make the base install of antergos and install xorg and i3wm from scratch?
Again the question, what are the most basic packages besides xorg and i3wm that I need in an antergos base install?
(So that I have more or less the same functionality as a DE like gnome)
Thanks in advance, I do not know where to search for this kind of infos.
i wanted to try out i3 window manager with antergos. Is there some benefit of using gnome and i3 together ( will it even work properly?), or should I consider installing the base and configuring xorg and i3 myself?
In the case of self configuring: what are essential things to do when using base install, besides xorg and i3?
Thanks in advance :)
