Refreshing doesn’t help me at all. The only solution for me is to remove the opacity (the one you can see in the sidebar) manually.
Using currently Google Chrome Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Though I have this problem since I remember on every browser. Even now I’ve just tried on the newest Firefox and there’s the very same issue.
That’s good to know you’ve managed to fix your problem. Your solution seems to be simpler than mine.
Anyway, I tried once again my way to fix the issue to see if it works. Looks like it’s fine.
I ran following command:
$ sudo blkid /dev/sdaX # X - your partition
and added this line to
UUID=23C76A604A0E2B5 ntfs noauto # Replace the UUID with yours generated by blkid
