Aside from selecting it at the Hard Disk boot order, does the last one (_ymay) work if you choose it from UEFI boot menu? (In my MSI, “Delete” gets you into BIOS and “F11” opens the Boot menu)
I coud see all boot entries (actual and former entries) when entering into BIOS, but after the first boot into W10, I couldn’t see the last installation at the Boot menu; It had disappeared.
Only in case I did not make clear myself, what I mean is to uncheck this option:After that, I reinstalled Antergos… and had it up & running.

Hi!
I I’ve just had the same experience and spent a while trying to restore my grub file… I was puzzled since It only disappeared the last instalation’s grub but I could see old distro’s grubs (obviously not working). Then I realised that in this last installation I had skipped one step: disabling Windows fast startup (not the BIOS option but in Windows itself). If it’s also your case: Boot into W10. Go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Power Options> System Setting> Choose the power buttons and uncheck the Turn on fast startup box.
Suerte. Un saludo!
¡Hola!
Suerte. Un saludo!

Finally, writing from my new distro!
I’ve just installed Antergos 17.7 in my laptop:
MSI PE60 6QE
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, 2048 MB
Graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 530, 1024 MBI followed the tutorial “Bumblebee for NVIDIA Optimus” at Antergos wiki, except for:
- instead of suggested acpi_osi="!Windows 2015, I used acpi_osi! acpi_osi=“Windows 2009” (both parameters to boot after Bumblebee installation). To make them permanent I modified the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT adding the new parameters and substituting the " by ':
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub # opens the editor, the modify the line adding the new parameters, and use ' instead of ": GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT='quiet acpi_osi=! acpi_osi="Windows 2009" resume=UUID=871f9da6-7807-432f-99b4-7fe7630feeff' sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg # creates grub config
- Also, on dual boot with Windows 10, do not forget to disable Windows fast startup (go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Power Options> System Setting> Choose the power buttons and uncheck the Turn on fast startup box) …that cost me some time investigating why after Windows boot, Antergos entry had disappeared at UEFI boot menu…
According to glxgears now it’s up and running.
Thanks again everybody!

Thank you @joekamprad for your time. I appreciate it.
Yes, I tried to get over this problem with several distros (Linux Mint, OpenSUSE, KaOS, Manjaro and now Antergos). I had never before contacted the Community, but I agree with you: it’s something more general, not just related to Antergos, so maybe I should go to some general GNU/Linux forum (suggestions accepted). I was hoping someone with more experience would have the same laptop so that I could apply their solution.
I’ve also asked for support to MSI, getting this answer:
“This Notebook is optmized for Windows system, therefore the support of Linux is limited, we recommend to install Windows on MSI notebook.
Because Linux organization didn’t cooperate with MSI, our linux resource is limited, we could not help on this case, it is still recommended to install WIN10, sorry for any inconvenience caused.”That’s all. “Linux organization didn`t cooperate”…
Anyway, I promise I will tell back my story if I find som solution.
Thanks again for everyone’s time. -

Thanks @joekamprad. I tried the installer (by the way, a great tool that makes easy the process)… but I got the same result…
Thank you for your answer!
Don’t you think the log maybe points to the PCIe port? -

@KabirGandhiok Thank you very much for your willingness to help. There is nothing like TPM in my BIOS setting, also nothing related to Nvidia or graphic management.
Thanks, sincerely. -

Hello.
I’ve spent some months trying to install a GNU/Linux distribution without real progress.
I did succeed in running some live distributions and installing them, but only after disabling ACPI or blacklist nouveau. I never got nvidia running, alone nor with bumblebee. I tried also with nvidia propietary drivers.
In my last attempt I followed an excellent wiki at Antergos site: “Bumblebee for NVIDIA Optimus”, but after rebooting (5.12 in that wiki), I got stuck:[ 0.960135] ACPI Error: No handler for Region [EC__] (ffff88046e0e6dB0) [EmbeddedControl] (20160831/evregion-166) [ 0.960142] ACPI Error: Region EmbeddedControl (ID=3) has no handler (20160831/exfldio-299) [ 0.960146] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB.PCI0.LPCB.EC._REG] (Node ffff88046e0e78e8), AE_NOT_EXIST (20160831/psparse-543) starting version 232 /dev/sda5: clean, 199855/2621440 files, 1723367/10485760 blocks [ 7.930911] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer, id=00e0(Receiver ID) [ 7.930913] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: device [8086:a110] error status/mask=00000001/00002000 [ 7.930914] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: [ 0] Receiver Error (First) [ 8.017464] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer, id=00e0(Receiver ID) [ 8.017465] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: device [8086:a110] error status/mask=00000001/00002000 [ 8.017466] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: [ 0] Receiver Error (First) [ 8.083405] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer, id=00e0(Receiver ID) [ 8.083408] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: device [8086:a110] error status/mask=00000001/00002000 [ 8.083412] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: [ 0] Receiver Error (First) [ 8.186416] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer, id=00e0(Receiver ID) [ 8.186419] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: device [8086:a110] error status/mask=00000001/00002000 [ 8.186423] pcieport 0000:00:1c.0: [ 0] Receiver Error (First)
Equipment:
MSI PE60 6QE
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, 2048 MB
Graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 530, 1024 MBIn these months, I’ve waited for newer kernels, tried several distributions and tutorials, updated the BIOS… I guess the problem it`s not the graphics cards support but the ACPI itself, maybe its power management (error referring to port to wich is connected the graphic card?).
I will appreciate your support with this frustrating issue. I don’t know what else to try… since you certainly noticed, I’m just a beginner, interested on FOSS and community philosophy… but with a training far away from computing.
Thank you very much.
