Playing Bioshock,Wow and other windows games full res, maxed settings and they run Smoothly as hell !
I did some tweaking with winetricks and used the winestaging9 with support for gallium (amd open source graphics driver) , the results were outstanding !
Bioshock full resolution maxxed and enabled every single quality setting ! And the performance was smooth as hell 100% flawless !
How does this happens ? I can’t wait testing more with wine !
Unbelievable ! Really !
PS1: Bioshock 1 and 2 are played full res maxed quality very smoothly ! 1000% Perfect ! WTF ?? I can’t believe my own eyes !
PS2: I will update when i try more games !
@Uzi Yes for sure !
I was happy using several distros from ubuntu to debian but now everything seems way too inconvenient !
The Aur repository is extremely convinient !
I mean who wants to have 25-30 repositories added ? and after 6 months needs to reinstall to the newer version
or removing all the repos and do a distro upgrade and its very possible to have some problems or even broke his
packaging system ???
On debian when i miss an application i must go and find the .deb file if exists somewhere and if the dependencies are ok
and there is no conflicts etc maybe i will be able to run the app , if i choose to add an ubuntu repository on debian
i risk to break entirely the operating system ! No new kernel versions (except on testing/unstable) etc
On Fedora it highly possible to experience the rpm hell even if its 2017 !! On Korora you can break your system from the first 10 minutes or just after you installed the operating system !! (it has happened to me)
-Deepin linux seems to be nice and stylish but it has SERIOUS problems with its repositories ! and the compositor they use is somewhat slower and you have less performance on 3d games or hd videos … its very possible.
Slackware was nice on 1999 etc etc
@bartatantergos My first linux distro was slackware linux at 1999 and it was really painful .
Now things are a lot better .
You need to test many distro to find what suits you better .
Now i need to install antergos on my friend’s laptop but touchpad is not responding at the installation screen i have the minimum iso.
I have no toucpad and also she has no mouse .(She has an older version on linux mint 32bit)
Congratulations for your great linux distro ! IT rocks !
I enjoyed very much you distro , its fantastic !
Very nice style and themes !
Also its very fast and stable !
The installer was fantastic pulling updates during the installation!
I wish you had two tools : one for installing kernels and a driver manager or at least graphics card driver installer !
I’m staying with this distro its fantastic ! and the aur has so many packages no need to add repositories and silly debs !
Very cool distro !
