• Bluetooth issue

    Hello everyone

I hope my question is in the right place!

I have been using Antergos for a while, and in my opinion, it is the best Linux distro!

I have an issue with my Bluetooth headset
When I connect it, it works very well; however, if I did not listen to anything for about 30 seconds, I have to reconnect the headphone because the sound will be sporadic!

    I tried:
To reinstall PulseAudio, Bluetooth, Blueman, and Bluez.
I tried also PCI and USB Bluetooth adapters.
    I tried many headphones.

    Nothing was helpful!

This issue is a general problem I faced with Linux distros, I tried too many different distributions, all of them have the same issue!

So can anyone help me to solve this issue?

    Thanks

I feel for you the problem seems to related to the fact that Bluetooth is constantly scanning for more Bluetooth devices…
If i open the setting panel using Gnome desktop while listening to music and click on the Bluetooth setting the sound goes really bad pops and interference.
On closing the setting panel sound goes back to normal.
I reinstall Antergos Grome from Antergos Deepin just for this very reason. I could not stop sound interference with Bluetooth using the Deepin desktop, was like the setting panel would never close on Deepin. (sorry not much help)

    Thank you for your responses!

Well, I think Linux community has to improve Bluetooth.

Do I need to move my issue there too? Because their issues are different than mine.

    Thanks

No! crossposting is not a good thing 😉

You do not get the same problem but the issue is may related to the fact that bluetooth itself is not working issueless at the current state, this is mostly effecting on a2dp (HIFI) audio over bluetooth.

I just use blueman instead of gnome internal and this is working better…
