I am trying to get Amazon Instant Video to stream correctly. From what I understand, this requires pipelight to work. I followed the pipelight wiki on arch linux (at [https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pipelight]">[https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pipelight]) and used the repo with the prebuilt binaries. Pipelight was installed with sudo pacman -S pipelight. I then use the Friefox chage-useragent plugin to change my useragent to Firefox 15/Windows. I have also executed “piplight-plugin --enable silverlight” and the result is “Plugin silverlight5.1 is now enabled.”
However, it is not working correctly as the Amazon Instant Video site reports the following error every time:
Content permissions error (6023)
We’re experiencing a problem playing this video.
See our troubleshooting tips for more information. For further assistance, please
contact Amazon Customer Service and refer to error 6023.
This happens on every video I try to play. The pipelight faq does not have any info relevant to this. The arch linux wiki is written in a way that it also does not seem to be helpful to me.
This is with the latest version of Firefox 64bit, kernel 3.15.3-1-ARCH, and Gnome 3.12.2 with AMD A8-3870.
I’m not sure how to fix this… Can anyone help with how to resolve this issue?
