• After updating Qupzilla to Falkon, all stored passwords are gone

After todays update of Qupzilla which actually removed qupzilla and replaced it with the renamed Falkon browser, all stored passwords are gone. This is super annoying.
Any Ideas how to get my passwords back? I can’t even reinstall qupzilla, as it’s gone from the repos now.

"If you were previously using QupZilla, you can manually migrate your profiles to Falkon by moving the config directory (usually in ~/.config/qupzilla/).
There is no automatic migration. "

  • Try this:

    cp -r ~/.config/qupzilla/ ~/.config/falkon

  • Tried that. Paswords are still gone.

  • Solved it by removing the falkon config folder and replacing it with the renamev qupzilla config folder.
