• latest iso wouldn't install intel graphics driver by default


    latest iso when I choose KDE install and reboot, boots into dark screen due to intel driver not being installed at all. had to install xf86-video-intel. please mend it

  • xf86-video-intel is not needed for most cards:
    Some (Debian & Ubuntu, Fedora, KDE) recommend not installing the xf86-video-intel driver, and instead falling back on the modesetting driver for fourth generation and newer GPUs.
