• Can't boot Windows after installing Antergos

    $fs_uuid you need to put to the uuid you get from grub prober

  • @joekamprad Negative; when selecting the entry I get: error: not a regular file, and nothing else

  • do you make use of the warning inside /etc/grub.d/40_custom ?

    cat /etc/grub.d/40_custom
    exec tail -n +3 $0
    # This file provides an easy way to add custom menu entries. Simply type the
    # menu entries you want to add after this comment. Be careful not to change
    # the 'exec tail' line above.
  • @manuel just create a script to create custom grub entries… https://forum.antergos.com/topic/9188/create-boot-grub-custom-cfg-grub-assistant/3 you can also get from my repo…

  • @joekamprad this is the output of the script:

    menuentry 'Antergos (rolling) (was /dev/nvme0n1p7) linux' {
      search --set --fs-uuid 252aada7-36f0-4254-b380-82cad8c0782e
      linux /boot/vmlinuz-linux root=UUID=252aada7-36f0-4254-b380-82cad8c0782e rw quiet splash
      initrd /boot/intel-ucode.img /boot/initramfs-linux.img

    shouldn’t I expect to have an entry for Win too?

  • if you have a windows rescue stick CD e.t.c. i woul go to reset back to windows boot anager, may you can detect it then, but all we try went to the same result, it is not aviable, like it was not there…
