So I have been trying to install Antergos on my new laptop (MSI GS63) without success. I’ve tried several things I’ll explain below.
- Using an old Antergos DVD I have (Release 17.3) I’m able to run live Antergos with UEFI enabled. When I try to install Antergos, I get the following error:
'Cannot create download package list (metalinks).' Please reference the following number when reporting this error: 971318
I’ve read many solutions to this problems based on manually modifying
mirrorlist files, but don’t seem to work as it keeps crashing.
Using the newest iso, Antergos 18.2, in a USB and UEFI enabled. Antergos live never launches and the BIOS/UEFI windows pops up all the times.
Using the same iso, Antergos 18.2, in the same USB and Legacy BIOS enabled. Antergos live gets to launch, but it get stuck. The error I get says something like:
Unable to add image options measurement: Invalid Parameter.
I’d prefer to mantain UEFI rather than having Legacy BIOS because I’ll be dual-booting with Windows 10.
Can anyone help me to find out what is happening and make it work?
Thanks in advanced!
