• \[SOLVED\] "modprobe sg" for ImgBurn under WINE

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but I tried using ImgBurn today under Wine and it wasn’t detecting my DVD drives. I read a bunch of tutorials telling what to do but nothing worked. Finally I found [this topic[/url:2j6g3pwv] on the arch forums. Is it safe to say that it’s a bug on the system? Supposely modprobing sg shouldn’t be required but It fixed the problem

Also, how can I make this run on system boot?]0

  • Well, you could create a filename with the same in /etc/modules-load.d/ and systemd will load that module every boot

    For example:

    Create /etc/modules-load.d/sg.conf
Write inside that file just the name of the module to be loaded (sg)

    Reboot
