• \[SOLVED\] 2x1 Chrome notifications & Gnome Lockscreen issue

    Hi:

English is not my native language but always is better for report and ask, so sorry for my mistake.

    1. Chrome/Chromiun: No systray indicator for notifications center/hangouts/etc.
I read a lot, something related to libappindicator something to Gnome and nothing clear or work so I need some tips.

    2. Antergos Gnome Lockscreen/Login Clock without hour.
In 1 of my 8 Antergos (6 Cinnamon, 1 Gnome, 1 Mate) with Gnome i get on login or lockscreen no hour number but correct minute. Looking on the Internet only found reports about this but nothing correct for take a look, any tips are welcome.

    Ty in advance

All my PC have this but I dont sure if this what you’re asking

    > > > locale
    > > > LANG=es\_AR.UTF-8
    > > > LC\_CENGINE="es\_AR.UTF-8"
    > > > LC\_NUMERIC="es\_AR.UTF-8"
    > > > LC\_TIME="es\_AR.UTF-8"
    > > > LC\_COLLATE=es\_AR.UTF-8

Edit: Perhaps do you’re asking for this:

  • Thanks for the information. I’m not sure why the clock does not work properly on some of your systems? If you are able, please install Midori Web Browser and then access the developer tools (right click on page>>inspect element). Click “Console” and input the following command and let me know the output:[code:6ab998wv]window.navigator.language;[/code:6ab998wv] Thanks.

    Best Regards,

  • HI Dustin:

Sorry for the long delay, long holiday weekend.
I cant open Dev console in Midori, give “Hide consol (%s) was no found” Core segment fault.
I really dont see diference about locale with Cinnamon, Mate or Gnome.
    Thank you in advance.

  • After a try with Epiphany and getting the same behavior like in Midori, I think some dependency is lost. In Cinnamon works perfectly and i can’t found what is lost.

Perhaps is the cause for clock bug.

  • Here is one quick way to see what could be missing:

    sudo pacman -Syy alsa-utils antergos-keyring antergos-mirrorlist b43-fwcutter base base-devel bash-completion crda dnsutils dosfstools haveged gzip ipw2100-fw ipw2200-fw modemmanager net-tools ntfs-3g openssh pkgfile sudo tar transmission-cli unzip unrar usb\_modeswitch wget whois wireless\_tools wpa\_actiond zd1211-firmware accountsservice antergos-wallpapers chromium libreoffice-installer lightdm lightdm-webkit-greeter lightdm-webkit-theme-antergos numix-icon-theme pacmanxg4 ttf-bitstream-vera ttf-dejavu ttf-liberation upower xf86-input-synaptics xf86-video-fbdev xf86-video-vesa xorg-apps xorg-fonts xorg-server xorg-server-utils antergos-gnome-defaults-list cdrkit empathy evince eog file-roller gedit gnome-calculator gnome-control-center gnome-disk-utility gnome-keyring gnome-screenshot gnome-shell gnome-shell-extensions gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-dock gnome-shell-extension-lockscreen-lightdm gnome-system-monitor gnome-terminal gnome-themes-standard gnome-tweak-tool gst-libav gst-plugins-bad gst-plugins-base gst-plugins-good gst-plugins-ugly gst-vaapi gstreamer0.10-plugins gstreamer0.10-vaapi gvfs-mtp hicolor-icon-theme libgnomeui nautilus network-manager-applet networkmanager-openvpn networkmanager-pptp numix-frost-themes numix-icon-theme-square telepathy totem transmission-gtk xdg-user-dirs-gtk xfburn xnoise xscreensaver --needed

If you want to just reinstall them all even if they are already installed just remove the last option (–needed). Let me know the result

    Best Regards,
