• Nvidia-uvm kernel moduals fail to install


    1st question is what does Nvidia-uvm even do

    2nd. this error came up after installing the 384.98 version of the driver
    and note i used the command

    sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-384.98.run  --no-unified-memory
    

    just to get the driver installed

    I haven’t noticed anything wrong with my system so would I have to worry about this in the future?

  • If you do not have any strong reason to use the nvidia run installer please use Antergos nvidia-installer:

    sudo pacman -S nvidia-installer
    nvidia-installer -t 
    

    If testing (-t) do not show error run installation:

    sudo nvidia-installer
