• Lightdm warning message on startup

I am receiving the following lightdm warning message:

    lightdm[560]: g_object_unref: assertion ‘G_IS_OBJECT (object)’ failed

    Process 560 refers to lightdm

What is causing this message? Is there a way of correcting the situation?

    sudo cat /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log | curl -F [email protected] https://ptpb.pw/?u=1

it will give a url with the log as a pastebin you can give here

  • The command:

    Returned:

i got exact the same could not run/unknown option/CRITICAL errors here

    • [LightDM] contains unknown option session-wrapper
may is a unvalide not used anymore option? i know this option is inside /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf but should be commented out by default.

    • Could not run plymouth --ping: Failed to execute child process “plymouth” (No such file or directory)
looks like a configuration bug to me, as we do not run plymouth on installed system

    • CRITICAL: g_object_unref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
is only one of this debugging errors so called “logspam”, but may i’m wrong…
