• inode/directory doesn't open the file manager! (quick fix included)

    I faced a strange bug for several days.

    Everytime me (or a program) was using xdg-open to open a folder, it was opening…Audacious! What the heck!
    The error comes from the mimetype which has been set wrong at some time (not sure when):

    $ xdg-mime query default inode/directory

    To fix it, just enter this in a terminal:

    $ xdg-mime default dde-file-manager.desktop inode/directory

    (feel free to replace dde-file-manager.desktop by the .desktop of your favorite file manager program ^^)

    I’m not sure this is an error from Antergos or just Deepin in general. In all cases, I post it here in case someone runs into the same problem. 🙂

    Thanks for sharing! 🙂

    I just noticed having the same binding wrong in Xfce (but this is over a year old installation so I may have messed it myself…).

    In a new (ISO 2017-12) Xfce installation it is correctly bound to Thunar-folder-handler.desktop.
