• Burning DVDs with K3B

When I try to burn image of dvd to copy it says my temp file is full? How do I adjust this file so i can have a large temp file so I can burn dvds?

    [solved]

  • Bump, i have the same issue and I’d like for someone to answer this.

  • again? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Tmpfs

Default it is so that we use tmpfs, it is held in systemram, and so maximum is the amount of installed RAM.

You can temporarily resize tmpfs like this:

    sudo mount -o remount,size=10G,noatime /tmp

    This is present till reboot.

  • Thanks, What if you want to resize permanently?

  • @vinoman
Then you put relevant definition into /etc/fstab.
    See:
    man fstab
    man tmpfs

and the link @joekamprad gave above.

  • Thanks again. :)

  • @vinoman So if you feel this is solved, can you mark it as such? :)
