• Kernel Updates?

    Hi ,

What is the Antergos policy for Kernel updates?

As I see Antergos has two kernels in their repo Mainline and LTS?

So does that mean the current version linux 4.13.12-1 it will automatically upgraded to 4.14? or I have to upgrade it myself?

    Thanks!

  • The Kernel will be updated automatically, just be patient and it will turn up soon.

  • …and take care to wait for stuff that is builded against the kernel, like nvidia drivers to get updated too, as if kernel update comes in earlier, and you install without updating nvidia package next boot will fail…

  • I am using mostly DKMS Drivers like nvidia-dkms so hopefully I should be ok

    Thanks for the quick reply
