• Chromium is not complete.

Using Chromium and navigating the morningstar.com website, type in a mutual fund symbol, then click on performance, then a compare tab should appear. It does not. In checking with their web support they said
Chromium is not a complete browser. However using Chromium on Ubuntu 16.04lts this problem does not occur, nor does it occur with Firefox on antergos or Ubuntu. I can use Midori on antergos it works too. So something is not quite right on Antergos Chromium. Is this browser incomplete?

  • @rosswmcgee

The site that I mention I can see it perfectly and do everything that you explain without problems with Chromium

You could give us your hardware answers with inxi, if you do not have it installed, install it with sudo pacman -S inxiand then

click on this command in the console and then paste it here:

    $ inxi -Fxxc0

    ?

  • @rosswmcgee Sounds like missing pepper flash, or some other chromium extension. Try installing e.g. pepper-flash package.
    EDIT: fixed typos.

  • I can open and read the website also and I don’t use pepperflash or flash.

  • @rosswmcgee said in Chromium is not complete.:

In checking with their web support they said
Chromium is not a complete browser

The people with whom you have consulted … have no idea what they say (it was an answer, I think, very Hasefrosh==>WindowsOS or Apple-Mac).
    No offense, of course.

Regarding your hardware, I do not see anything out of the ordinary, for me, everything is fine and working.

  • OptiPlex 760 > same hardware running here! with upgraded CPU and nvidia card installed …

So i do not think it is related to hardware problem… it is more about :

    compare tab should appear

So i would take alook into chromium settings first, it could be also needed flash or java, both are not installed by default, and java is not aviable for chromium as far as i know (https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/chrome.xml)

So in the case of java yes! chromium is not complete in a away.
