• GNOME session closes randomly

    Hello

    I use GNOME 3.26.2 on an Asus Zenbook UX31E software is updated.

    Every now and then the GNOME session would just close/crash and go back to GDM and I can logon again. It seems to me that it happens when the laptop is under “heavy load” which means a Java-app like JOSM is running, Firefox, Terminal, Libre Office. Or Just Firefox with 5+ tabs with HTML5 videos like Youtube in each one.

    If it happens again: which logs do you need in order to help me?

  • you can give journal from the timescape when a crash happens… after login again from DM to DE:

    journalctl --since "10 minutes ago" | curl -F [email protected] https://ptpb.pw/?u=1

    [updates once a week] = [90% less problems]
    how to add system logs:
    wget http://bit.ly/2GCG9k2 && sh 2GCG9k2
