• Installing XRDP on Artergos (with Gnome)

I am trying to install XRDP on my installation of Antergos with Gnome 3 as desktop environment. I did it installing the package from yaourt, and I enabled both services (xrdp and xrdp-sesman) with systemctl.

The problem is that when I log in with de Microsoft Remote Desktop app, I get a black screen (or blue if I connect without user and password). Which is the problem? Do I need to instalar or configure anything else? Is good to use Gnome 3 or I need to instal XFCE or KDE? I search a lot but I am “new” in all of this and anything that I read is helping me.

    Thanks in advanced.

As far as i know from my experience with linux-remote desktops, it is also a problem with the network itself and ports e.t.c.

  • Because as far a I know, what I am trying to do is to loggin in VNC with XRDP, so that 127.0.0.1 in reality is referring to the IP of the machine with the XRDP server.
