The title says it; closing the lid will sleep the computer as desired, but when I open the lid again, the computer does not wake until I make an input on the keyboard.

/proc/acpi/wakeup has

Device S-state Status Sysfs node
PEG0 S4 *disabled
GLAN S4 *enabled pci:0000:00:19.0
EHC1 S3 *disabled
EHC2 S3 *disabled
XHC S3 *enabled pci:0000:00:14.0
HDEF S3 *disabled pci:0000:00:1b.0
PWRB S4 *enabled platform:PNP0C0C:00
LID S4 *enabled platform:PNP0C0D:00

Furthermore, when I set the computer to not sleep upon close, closing and opening the lid does properly turn off and turn on the monitor, so I don’t believe it to be a hardware issue.

It’s not an unworkable issue, but I would prefer it to wake on opening.
