• kernel panic help?

I started Linux today finding several issues in fsck that crashed Linux after running fsck manually and letting it do what it would I now am getting this kernal panic, help??

  • Maybe this thread will help you.

  • So I tried the sudo mkinitcpio -p linux command the kernal panic went away but the fsck errors came back… and I don’t think it’s a symlink issue as ls /usr/lib and /usr/lib64 show the same output.

  • if running fsck is failing, there could be a serious physical problem with the hd… or simple you do something wrong ;) …but try booting from liveiso and check the disk again.
can you provide more info about installation ? partition filesystem cryped or not e.t.c.? and the command you are try to check the disk.
