  • i think the problem on boot is caused by graphic card driver.

    What’s your graphic card ?

    When grub appears:

  • Hi,

It’s been a couple years since I dealt with booting from an extended partition BUT if I remember correctly, you should have your /boot as a separate primary partition (outside of the extended partition) for grub to work properly. With your current layout, I’d recommend using sda1 (overwriting dell utilities). It’s unlikely you will ever require use of the dell utilities anyway. Plus I doubt you want to touch your windows install which means sda2 and sda3 are off limits. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks works fantastic.
    i was overwriting dell utilities
    got now
    sda1 boot antergos
    sda 2 windows recovery
    sda 3 windows
    sda 4 / antergos
    sda swap
once again thank you for helping cheerz Wolf

  • You’re welcome

    Cheers!
