• Turning off monitor f*cks up KDE Plasma layout

I turn my monitors (two monitors) off at the end of each workday, and the next morning when i power it on again… all hell have broken loose and the layout of Windows and desktop widgets are all f*cked up!

    Anyone else having this issue?

  • In order to help, we need more information about your hardware, graphics card you use, etc … if you do not understand your problem.

    By console

    inxi -Gf

?As well as that, it would be interesting to see, some screenshot or photo, if possible?

  • It’s mostly annoying and i just wanted to hear if anyone else is seeing this!

The two displays are of different kinds and resolution, and the desktop widgets are at a place on the display that exactly fits the lower res display. I think this behavior is due to the different resolutions.
