It is not a question of “guess” but the decision of devs to import stuff into Wayland. Provided of course they won t be met with bugs and incompatibilities that have to be resolved.

As wayland which is said to almost work after only 9 years of development, I’d say: Give it another decade and it may work on all gpus.
