    Broadcom Limited BCM43142 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)

    yaourt -S broadcom-wl-dkms

    Unload conflicting modules.

    su
    rmmod b43
    rmmod ssb
    rmmod bcma

    Load the wl module:

    modprobe -r wl

  • This seems to be the problem:

    :: Starte pre-transaction hooks…
    (1/1) Remove DKMS modules
==> No kernel 4.9.47-1-lts headers. You must install them to use DKMS!
==> No kernel 4.12.10-1-ARCH headers. You must install them to use DKMS!

I am running the LTS version of Arch.

When I start in normal bootmode I get a black screen. What might be an issue here.

    The output of lscpi:

    Thnx!

  • @Mortimer said in Broadcom Limited BCM43142 (no Wifi) issues.:

    normal bootmode

    means what?

and headers are needed for shure.

  • i can see that kernel headers are optional dependency, because of different kernels…

so you need to install the headers for your used kernel:

    sudo pacman -S linux-lts-headers
