• Gnome-Gmail won't open

On a fresh install of Gnome, I installed gnome-gmail from the AUR. When I click on it, all I get is a spinning wheel.

    What could be missing ?

Running it from the Terminal, here’s what I get

    [[email protected] ~]$ gnome-gmail

    Thanks.

EDIT : I installed the package xdg-utils that was missing. Now, I get no error from the Terminal, but it won’t open gnome-gmail either.

  • At least on my system, it tries to run gmail on my default browser but falls back into chromium if google chrome is the default. So, program fails to run if chromium is not installed.

I tested both with firefox and chromium as default, gnome-gmail seems to work fine.
