Ok, wow joe i tried 3 times to boot the iso and is so much faster now

    1. 47 seconds
    2. 47 seconds
    3. 46 seconds

    Boot options:

    1. NVIDIA
    2. Boot from Hard Disk

    Congratulations!

  • thanks for the roses ;)
Hope thet removing this stuff also help to get the iso booted on problematic systems 🔛
But faster booting is also very nice ! i start using my iso also as rescue system at the moment… yesterday i do install pure ARCHLINUX out of my nvidia ISO 👽

NICE! Using terminal or hacking cnchi?

  • @fernandomaroto only for comfort reason, so i can do installation inside terminal and can have the browser open with the Archwiki for copy paste the commands… only remove the antergos mirror from pacman.conf.

  • @joekamprad
i see… that’s the very begining of my “offline installer mission”, i first installed the arch way, then using the archway in graphical interface using antergos’ iso (much easier browsing, checking the wiki) and finally wanted some offline way to install too…

Install the arch way with a graphical interface is easy, cool and good for learning experience.

  • You will find latest ISO also here:
    antergos-nvidia-RADICAL-17.11.final-x86_64.iso

just updated startpost, and wiki entries also…

  • RADICAL?
    J.

Because radically removed anything unneeded from bootup😂
No splash screen (Plymouth) it do not work with nvidia and no kms enabled…
remove quiet, and all non nvidia entries from bootmenu

  • i did it again> antergos-nvidia-18.1-x86_64.iso

But i will need to investigate some more deeper to get live environment working with my settings…

  • next one is building at the moment …

i can test in VM if you need some feedback.

  • and another one rolling in later ;)

  • Greetings,

The antergos-nvidia-nozfs-18.7-x86_64.iso seems to be one of the few options I have to install an Arch based system on my new laptop with an GTX 1050 Ti. All manjaro attempts failed and now I’m trying antergos…

The setup is smoth and without any issue (I can see the nvidia server working fine) but after setup is done and I reboot I run the nvidia installer with sucess but on next boot I’m always stuck on boot .

How can I replicate the same options that are present on setup ?

    Thanks
    embb

installation is exactly the same as with the main ISO from Antergos.

So please open a new post with your issue, and provide exact command you are using and the output what it gives you out, before rebooting…
