    Recently, every time I try to update my system this is what happens:

    …and so on. It always seems to (in the end) actually install everything, but the problem is a bit worrisome. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

    NOTE: I have been using Bleachbit lately, so I don’t know if that “cleaned” to much or not. Here are my settings for Bleachbit if anyone is wondering:

  • try to get a better mirrorlist ;)

    use fetchmirrors:

    yaourt -S fetchmirrors
    sudo fetchmirrors

    This will rankmirror the best mirrors for your place!

  • Thanks! (and WOW! That was certainly a fast reply:smile:. I wasn’t even expecting anything for at least a few hours! Thank you so much).

    I am off to try your suggestion. I’ll let you know how it went after I am done!

  • And while I know you’re here, I was wondering if you had any idea how to fix a terminal problem I’ve been having lately. When I installed konsole, it does not display images correctly, but rather warps them and streches them towards the right of my screen. Here’s a pic of it:
    0_1500736840446_terminal pic.png
    As you can see, it is stretching the Antergos logo to the right and also doing the same to the bold words (such as WM Theme and WM).

    Thank you again for all of the help!

    Thanks again! I just installed xfce4-terminal, and it is working beautifully:grinning:. I especially like the transparent effect for it. However, do you know if I can make it’s background blurred or not? That would really make it perfect in my mind.

    Thanks!

    blurred

    i do not know also because xfce-terminal is gtk3 and you are on kde wich is responsible for blurred as far as i know…

    Sorry, I forgot to mention how I made konsole’s background blurred:smile:. I just added this bit of code to bashrc:

    konsolex=$(qdbus | grep konsole | cut -f 2 -d\ )
    if [ -n "$konsolex" ]; then
    for konsole in `xdotool search --class konsole`; do
    xprop -f _KDE_NET_WM_BLUR_BEHIND_REGION 32c -set _KDE_NET_WM_BLUR_BEHIND_REGION 0 -id $konsole;
    done
    fi

    I’ve tried just substituting ‘xfce4-terminal’ for every time konsole is mentioned, but it does not seem to be working at all.

    Thanks!

    Ah… I had forgotten about that! Either way, I am really enjoying xfce4-terminal more than konsole already:grinning:.
