    Hey all,

CLI not working; is this intentional?

Testing from an Asus 1005HAB (32 bit)

[list:2o0gnl2e]LVM causes Openbox install to hang[/list:u:2o0gnl2e]

Testing from an Asus UX32VD (64 bit)

I’ll edit this as I go through it.

    Thanks,
    Zen

  • Hi. If CLI is not working, that is definitely not intentional. It should work as I, and many others on this board, used that before with no or very little hitches encountered. I recall having encountered hitches using the GUI install.

So basically, from what I understand is that your neither able to install both Antergos and Openbox on your machine. Is this correct?

Download " antergos-wallpapers-extra " and enjoy community sponsored wallpapers.

Use the "Linux Beginner Search Engine"

  • Hi,

We will run some tests on the CLI to find the issue. In the meantime, have you tried using the GUI installer?

    Best Regards,
    Dustin

I can install Antergos fine using GUI, but I am unable to access the CLI.
    :exclamation:Sorry, this attachment is unavailable.
Using the GUI, an 32bit openbox install hangs at copying xz files from cache(15%).

  • Thanks for the info. I will check on this and let you know what I find. In the meantime, you can launch the CLI by exiting Cnchi and running this command from gnome-terminal:

    sudo /arch/setup

    Cheers!

  • Well shoot, looks like the problem I was having with installing openbox stems from LVM bug.

  • Hi,

0.6 had a bug that may affect LVM installs (nothing to do with Openbox).

Try to use latest Cnchi (atm is 0.6.4, I think).
