• \[SOLVED\] 32bit or 64bit?

I just installed a Vbox of Arch with Gnome using an Antergos DVD recorded last year (Nov.2013). Everything went well, fast and efficient including Gnome 3.12 DE. However, when I checked Details for Sytem Version in Settings, it says 32bit.

I looked in DVD files and says “checksum.i686.md5” under arch folder. Where is the problem? Should I download a newer version of Antergos?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Hi,

    There’re always two versions, 32bit (i686) and 64bit (x86 or amd64)

If the file says i686 it means it’s the 32bit version.

    Cheers!
