• Bumblebee Nvidia Drivers GDM Error

Hi guys. I’ve been following this guide Antergos/wiki/uncategorized/bumblebee-for-nvidia-optimus/ (blame askimet) on how to get up Bumblebee, since I had a very power hungry GPU and a decent integrated GPU.

I’ve followed the guide, and I have the Nvidia drivers installed and bumblebee is also enabled. However, I get some kind of GDM error like this:0_1499872085159_gdm_error.png
I know it has something to do with the Nvidia drivers because once I remove them, the error disappears. What is going on here?

  • @mach01dan may because of the gnome session? usually it starts Xorg session on its own if wayland fails but may on yours not, so try to take the Gnome Xorg entry from LoginManager

  • That’s what I was thinking. I’ll check it and let you know what happens. Thanks for all your help on these forums, @joekamprad
