• Dell V313w Printer

I tried to install printer driver for Dell V313w and it doesn’t seem to be installed well. I’ve downloaded the driver installer from [Dell’s website[/url:1n4u5ltu], extracted and executed the .sh file, following the instructions on installing a printer within Antergos/Arch, and it failed:

Here’s the output from the Terminal:

    Verifying archive integrity... All good.
    Uncompressing nixstaller.........................................................................................
    Collecting info for this system...

    ram size = 1996.55078125 MB
    /tmp = 974 MB , /usr/local = 58265 MB
    go tar!

  • Hi,

Try extracting the file anywhere outside of the /tmp directory and then run the script.

    Cheers!

  • Tried to extract the script into my /home directory and it still didn’t worked. Same error.

There should be only the way if they going to make a driver installation package via AUR?

[b:1c1z18ox]EDIT:[/b:1c1z18ox] Because of this printer installation problem cannot been resolved, I have a new printer—the Canon PIXMA MG2520. The problem has been solved as posted from the Arch Linux Forums:
