• I have a problem during the install

    Hello,

    I have a problem. Antergos do not want to install because when I run my bootable key and I select antergos it puts me the main menu then it stays there is nothing
    alt text
    I select the first one called Antergos x86_64
    After this screen appears
    alt text

    And it’s fixed like that no more happens: '(
    Thank you for your help :)

    Hi!
    i guess you could wait just to be sure, here can take something like 5 minutes to boot the livecd…

  • Once I waited for 30 minutes if not more

    Press the Home, or Esc, or UpArrow key once to temporarily switch the Plymouth theme off and to see what happens on the text display.

    (Press the Home, or Esc, or UpArrow key one more time to switch the Plymouth theme back on).

  • Is than an MSI laptop? Because if it is, if’ve got the exact same problem… think its the nvidia card. this iso is working (sourseforge>files>zip) but then i get an other problem that i think has something to do with this problem…

  • Its a Asus laptop :) with i5 7th gen and Nvidia geforce 1050

    Then it’s probably the nvidia chip.

  • Hi!

    I would try this Iso🙂. It might resolve your issue if it is related to your Nvidia card.

    Hope this helps!

  • Hi there!

  • Hi
    I have a new one when installing when it happens in the end it tells me that Cnich has not been able to download all the packages.

    PS: My internet connection never stops

  • It looks like this article on the Wiki addresses your issue🙂.

  • It does not work when I do “pacman -Syu” it makes me a mistake

  • Hi,

    Check your /etc/pacman.conf file. pacman is complaining that no servers are configured for your repositories.

    How did you burn the iso to the usb?

  • Yes I have burn the iso to usb

    There must be what in the file /etc/pacman.conf ?

    What program did you use to do this? Only Rufus, Etcher, and USB Writer work with Antergos.

    Something like this (I removed comments):

    [options]
    HoldPkg     = pacman glibc
    Architecture = auto
    Color
    CheckSpace

    SigLevel    = Required DatabaseOptional
    LocalFileSigLevel = Optional

    [antergos]
    SigLevel = PackageRequired
    Include = /etc/pacman.d/antergos-mirrorlist

    [core]
    Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

    [extra]
    Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

    [community]
    Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

    [multilib]
    Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

  • @Keegan I have use USB Writer I try with rufus

  • Hope it works for you!
