• \[Solved\] Extremely slow internet connection

    Hey guys! Tried installing Antergos with the newest testing iso and having some issues with the network connection. When I’m connected by wire the connection is extremely slow.

    The computer is a HP ProBook 6560b, 00:19:0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82579V Gigabit Network Connection (rev04), driver loaded e1000e.

    Have been trying to disable Ipv6 and changing the resolvers to others than the ones given by the router.

    Is there any other information I can give here?

    *EDIT* Tried with the old antergos-2014.04.27-x86_64 iso i had and it worked without any trouble.

  • what does

     show?
    It should show something like what mine is
    \#
    \# /etc/hosts: static lookup table for host names
    \#

    \#<ip-address\> <hostname.domain.org\> <hostname\>
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    ::1 localhost.localdomain localhost

    \# End of file
