• Desktop environment not starting after reboot

I was having some troubles with the package updater and it freezed the whole graphic environment. I went to the tty2 and tried restrting it with
    startx -- :7
It didn’t work, then i restarted it with shutdown and when it started instead of the log-in page show a black console-like screen with a cursor in which i can’t do anything. I can switch among terminals 2-6 and login there. but i don’t know how to restore the graphical invironment. ¿did this happen to someone else?

  • first do the uncompleted update you are starting before:

    pacman -Syyu

    from Console…
Then try to reboot, may this will solve already, if not come back here…or IRC …
