• Laptop brightness can not adjust after last update


    Hi everyone, after yesterday (26/05/2017) upgrade, i can not adjust laptop backlight brightness, its on full.
    I have read other articles, I think its not kernel issue, the same problem when installing with LTS kernel.

    create a file:

    $ sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf
    

    with the following inside:

    Section "Device"
        Identifier             "Device0"
        Driver                 "intel"
        Option "Backlight"     "intel_backlight"
    EndSection
    

    save (Ctlg+X) and restart X or reboot
