• KDE desktop frozen

    Hi all,

I have had to re-install Antergos KDE as my desktop froze, but I could still use keyboard shortcuts such as Alt+F2. I did a fresh install but I still have the same problem. I don’t know if it has anything to do with me having problems with antergos-keyring? (Which I have just resolved!)

Does anyone have the same problem or have any ideas? Any answers would be much appreciated.

  • Not really identical, but after upgrading to the new kernel (4.11.x), I kept loosing plasma shell out of the blue. Booting using the lts kernel solved the problem. It just might be worth trying it.

  • @anarch Thanks very much for the tip.

  • @JoeSh88 , have you tried it? Did it work?

  • All seems to be ok after sorting antergos-keyring out. Still using latest kernel. 👍

  • @JoeSh88 , glad to know. Will you mark the topic as SOLVED , then? On the bottom R-H corner, click on the TOPIC TOOLS to find the option.
