• Right Click not working on my touchpad after upgrade

@A-User said in Right Click not working on my touchpad after upgrade:

Apparently, I simply had to shutdown and restart Antergos…

Thanks Lord! But I didn’t say to “login and then logout”. I said “logout and then login” :) . I thought that this phrase in your previous post was just a typo.

Reboot restarts the kernel and the X-server. Restrting the kernel was not needed. In this case it was enough to restart X-server only. It is done with “logging out and then logging back in”. Or simply “logout-login” for brevity.

  • Sorry, my bad🙂
I meant “logout and then login”, which is what I did.

    Just glad it’s solved😀

  • However, I am starting to notice that I have no “inertia scrolling” capability at the moment. Is there a way to enable that for the touch pad?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @A-User I’m not sure, what “inertis scrolling” is. I never use a touchpad, only a mouse. And I can’t survive for more than 20 minutes a day in Gnome. This limit has been reached awhile ago. It’s enough Gnome for today. And for next few days :) .

  • Thank you🙂

“Inertia scrolling” is where if you flick your fingers as you scroll so that you can get to the end of a long page or something, and it speeds up and slows down, much like gathering and losing inertia. When I try it now on Gnome, it only scrolls about 20 lines or so, instead of adjusting how far to scroll based on how quickly I swiped with my fingers.

Thanks again for all the help!

funny, though i totally agree with you hehehe

  • So, should this be marked as solved then?
