• Wi-Fi going slow

    Hi! I’ve this issue.
Every update and upgrade from pacman is going so slow, like 10-20kb.
Is there a way to fix this?
This is my hardware and things:

    Help please.

  • If problem is only on updates you can try to:

    grep -A1 --no-group-separator *YourCountry* /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

this gives you all Mirrors of yourCountry, you can use this ones on top of your mirrorslist to use them first.

  • @joekamprad Yes!!! It’s working faster, thank you.

  • Well, it worked faster one day, but then got back again with troubles, 10-20kb of any download. Is there another solution, or a way to make the last, more effective??

  • @juantello said in Wi-Fi going slow:

    RTL8723AE

    rtl8723ae
The rtl8723ae and rtl8723be modules are included in the mainline Linux kernel.

Some users may encounter errors with powersave on this card.
This is shown with occasional disconnects that are not recognized by high level network managers (netctl, NetworkManager).

    echo ---lspci--- > logs && lspci >> logs && echo ---lsusb--- >> logs && lsusb >> logs && echo ---dmesg--- >> logs && dmesg >> logs && echo ---journalctl-b--- >> logs && journalctl -b >> logs && cat logs | curl -F [email protected] https://ptpb.pw/

post link here before you try this:
    edit /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723ae.conf
    add:

    options rtl8723ae fwlps=0
