• Mic not working

    $ sudo echo "options snd-hda-intel model=auto" > /etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf

    and reboot may force to reload config

  • @joekamprad
    Done but still doesn’t work

  • what if you run alsamixer as root?

  • @joekamprad
    nothing changes

    Isn’t there some cfg file I can delete to have it restored with default values or something like that idk?
    Or some driver i can reinstall…

  • you may also remove ~/.config/pulse but it looks like that this has nothing to do with pulseaudio…
    Also that this chip is known for work out of the box, it can only be a hardware defect or missconfiguration.

  • @joekamprad
    Removing ~/.config/pulse did work!!!
    Ty very much for your help :D

    Also I confirm the chip works out of the box but idk what happened and broke it at some point… I was considering reinstalling the whole system…

  • good to know 🎱
