• Which Music Player is it worth testing?

I know that many of the FOSS purists are going to cry “foul”, but I’m still using Winamp, albeit with WINE. About 15% of my collection is in a flac/cue format and I’ve yet to find a native Linux player that will play them properly. Granted, it’s a pain in the a** to set up, and the media library (which I don’t use, anyway) doesn’t work, but otherwise functions well.

Otherwise, I’ve had excellent luck with Audacious, which would be my choice, otherwise.

I guess that comes with being old.😁

Of course, I also remember playing music on Videolan (now VLC) on Red Hat 6/Gnome 2.
